Today has been a slow and relaxing day. It was very needed. Here are just a few picts for your enjoyment.

So I thought that we were going to Brasil but it seems that we are still in Texas....sort of. The LST team from Alabama threw a party that was a "Western" theme. They taught everyone the Electric Slide. Brazilians doing line dances....entertaining. Heather and I had to show off our mad dancing skills. We did "the" line dance. It was great. Heather got to be the great wonderful save the day translator and through that we met a woman named Danieli. She spoke some English. She also works with deaf people therefore the three of us had a conversation going in English, Portuguese, and sign language.
Earlier today we were sent to the market up the hill to get food and snacks. We needed alface (lettuce) and the lady did not charge us for it because the leaves we got were very sad and wilted.. :o( After we got home Jen pointed out our mistake..Turns out it was kale...SCORE!...not really.
